Reiki Healing

It is a Japanese word meaning “Universal Life Energy.” It is never meant to replace health or veterinarian care but it can be a helpful addition for your horse emotionally, mentally and physically.

If you believe in Reiki, or not, the reactions horses have to it are real. Because Reiki makes the recipient feel better it can be hard to judge scientifically.

The practitioner will move their hands very close to the recipient’s body but does not always touch them. The Reiki practitioner will use symbols and visualize during treatments. Normally people say they can feel the energy transfer from the practitioner to their body and that the practitioner’s hands get very warm. Warmth comes from energy. Everything has energy. In Reiki that energy is channeled through the practitioner to the recipient whether that be human, equine or canine.

During Reiki in humans and horses there is a sense of  relaxation and healing from post trauma.

Meet Your Equine Therapist

Elizabeth Naqvi

Elizabeth has been involved with equestrian sports since the age of five. She started her journey in the equestrian world doing competitive jumping. Elizabeth also worked at the racetrack with racehorses and exercised polo ponies in her early adulthood. As time went on, she took a keen interest in the world of dressage, where she has competed in several shows in Southern California. Due to her love for horses, she has always sought out the most cutting-edge care for her three horses, to include regular massage therapies, PEMF, and Reiki healing. Though the practitioners would share the benefits of these therapies, Elizabeth wanted to seek the truth for herself and decided to do her own research in these alternate forms of care for her animals. As she expanded her knowledge, she was so intrigued and impressed that she decided to get certified as an E.S.M.T from Equissage and became a MagnaWave PEMF Practitioner. Elizabeth is also a certified Reiki Healer. Now she wants to share her knowledge with the rest of the equine community and help horses live a healthier and more fulfilled life.
